Measuring Trump and filing suits vs measuring the rest (meeting way lower standards)

Things we think happened but mostly the media cunningly reshaped the narrative

Firstly, think of it … when people decide something is true or not … humans are not analyzing like computers neatly all the data accesible (to the computer). Computers are indifferent to an outcome of the data, it doesn’t care whether an outcome is in favor or against an outcome only humans can have.

Human decision whether something is true or not is very often rife with incomplete data, bias, laziness, quick on the draw etc. It’s built into humans because humans are mostly association machines. Yes ratio is also a driving factor, but ratio can maybe quell the former to let it shrink in size depending on the individual, but society-wise speaking ratio seems to be underutilized, therefore making the storytelling aspect … meaning what story are picking people up and which version of the emanating (media)sources narratives are lodged in people’s mind?

Putting the aforementioned in a cauldron and adding to the mix that a majority of people seem to have better things to do (to capture it euphemistically) than to invest some time in understanding a broader context of a situation … the whole mix may lead to a majority of people being easily steered (in the absense of the individual’s own desktop research) in common thoughts, headlines, truths that may have more than a little slant. And most humans  usually feel ensconced with the slant … they live in it and it makes them feel at home

Nothing bad is mentioned here, it’s just what it is … right?

Some stories/mistruths aptly constructed and maintained by the media but slanted
  • It could not be proven that Trump alledgedly raped E. Jean Carroll in the mid-90-ties(jury could not find proof) but was ordered to pay $83 million because Trump was found guilty of defaming Carroll
    • details in the court were that the judge, while a partner at the Paul Weiss firm, had a mentor type relationship with the plaintiff’s lead counsel Roberta Kaplan 😵‍💫
    • Also the other lead counsil for Carroll, Shawn Crowley served as the judge’s law clerk and were previously advised that the judge co-officiated her wedding 😯
  • The Watergate Scandal about president Richard Nixon was not about Nixon ordering the furtive bugging of the DNC head quarters. Instead … it was about Nixon finding out many months later and consequently Nixon tried (against his better judgement). He never was succesfully impeached and he made the difficult choice to just resign in order to keep the people’s faith in public office
  • Nixon had just won his second term for the presidency (nov 7, 1972) in a landslide. 60.7% voted for Nixon and he carried 49 states! He was a popular president trying to asphyxiate the Vietnam war Lyndon Johnson had started
  • The Obama administration during the last months just before the Nov 2016 presidential election conducted via the FBI spying operations on Trump … and the media made 99% of the reality of what happened disappear … no post-facto investigations of why the FBI had to investigate Russiagate, no investigations what the DNC paid for to ascertain knowledge about Trump and Russia
  • yes all these efforts were piecemeal in a grand damaging Trump covert campaign

  • Bill Clinton’s affair in 1998 with a young intern called Monica Lewinsky was to insiders a secret they must have decided didn’t want to divulge anything about. Journalists knew and White House staff must have been moles in order to avoid knowing about Ms. Lewinsky and her special relationship with the president
  • the affair and the sexual acts insignificant, meaningless the the public, but what should have been a scandal is why all the journalists decided to keep a tight lid on the topic … that’s an abomination!

People say “in the olden days journalism was much better than today’s,” but was it really that much better.

The Kennedy assasination, Joe Biden’s visible decline in movement and cognitive capacity, renewable energy and the solar panel waist, decommisioned wind mills on heaps of steal and toxic waist, the Putin-will-try-to-overtake-other-EU-countries story … where every talking head on the media repeats this dark Putin narrative, but there are in this digital selfie society with phones on every street corner of every city in the world … no videos of Putin actually saying he’d like to invade European countries beside Ukraine.

It goes on and on, in the past and present, but one might be only capable of noticing this journalistic dearth when one is aware these patterns. When one has not walked far enough on his or her individual path of determination, critical thinking and (in the absense of not mentioning all the other things not mentioned) garnering enough media savviness and juxtapose it with human nature … maybe one’s opinion/predictions might hold true when future becomes present.
