This amazing video opens with two guys Franz and Laurens but quickly Elon is invited onto stage and he opens up by telling this Roadster event will “make you see some crazy stuff tonight.” He adds “we need an audience to prove it’s not ai or si.” He further eludes about what can be made from a collaboration with the world’s best car company and the world’s best rocket company.
“The car has attitude control thrusters and main thrusters in the rear so basically it can fly like a rocket.”
Laurens adds: “We had the rockets we borrowed from SpaceX technology. You talked about the carbon overlay pressure vessels. I jusy want to tell everyone ‘cause I’m a spec guy. There’s two of them. There’s a total of 600 liters. There’s about 250 kilo’s of air. And we have ten nozzles.”
Elon: “The car uses an advanced ultra high pressure tank. So the car can recharge its air tank. So it’s it doesn’t need special propellant or anything like that. It literally is going to puff itself up and be able to do these kinds of maneuvers.”
