The left video is where Mark Steyn is sharing his bird’s eye view on free speech and the case which would still last almost 8 years to be held in 2024.
The right side video jumps in an idea about Mann’s alleged skewed idea of his hockeystick thesis.
Mark Steyn is of the opinion that in essence this court trial is a free speech case, whereas Michael Mann according to Steyn is of the opinion that he needs to take a stand for science.
Steyn is of the opinion that climate alarmist political policies will make economies around the world poorer because the idealistic pictures conjured up by politicians where economies will thrive, be carbon-zero and more and better jobs will create a society more happy, more wealthy and more healthy … these happy ideas are derived straight from a pen that wrote Disney stories … worlds where anything is possible right?
“No” would be an answer better appropriate encompassing what people are experiencing. Not everything is possible in a society where carbon emissions are deemed ‘evil’ even though those same carbon emissions bring inexpensive energy for cars and houses and transport. People and thus economies thrive when energy is cheap.
When energy becomes more expensive like for instance Germany, industry cannot contracts and the German government needs to give aid.
The Green Economy will make people’s lives in general more expensive and people should feel happy about that?
It asphyxiates people’s opportunities and more and more people will gratefully receive their subsidies doled out by governments creating more inflation by lending more money.
Is it the climate change trial of the century?

They have burdened themselves with reporting daily on this long-awaited defamation court case where scientist and activist Michael Mann feels he has been defamed by writer and broadcaster Mark Steyn. The trial is scheduled to run through at least 6 February, and its completion to be decided by a jury verdict.
